In 2014, after temporarily leaving sports competitively, I went from a multi-sport athlete eating whatever I wanted, to running 5x a week + under eating. I dealt with migraines, lethargy, + digestive issues.

Despite trying just about every calorie counting method and workout app, nothing worked. I wasn’t sure how to find balance outside of the world I had known.

Soon after I discovered the power of food as medicine, I drastically overhauled my diet + started lifting weights again. Lo and behold I found what I was searching for.

I’ve since dedicated my career to helping others transform their lives through nutritional + lifestyle choices; ultimately reclaiming the athlete they’ve always been.

  • After turning down some collegiate sport offers in hopes of traveling the world instead, I found myself running miles a day to ”stay in shape” while under eating. I was a multi sport athlete competing in track & field, lacrosse, & cross country. After high school I was dealing with digestive issues + migraines, feeling stressed, frustrated, and fatigued all the time; I just wanted my toned athletic high school body back. I was tracking every calorie, eating what I thought were "clean" foods, and struggling to get back to what I knew.

    Plot twist in 2017 when I was recruited for Bobsled, which led me to figuring out my own nutrition through trial and error. I went from eating for aesthetics to eating for performance, and the results followed. I began feeling strong again and back in the body I once knew. I loved what my body was capable of and food was no longer feared, rather looked at as fuel.

    So I invested in furthering my education and I started nutrition coaching. I have truly found that helping others take control of their health through nutrition and lifestyle choices to be one of the most rewarding journeys thus far. Nutrition goes beyond just the basics. I believe in addressing the brain gut connection, metabolism, bringing clarity to common marketing myths, eating for your goals and more; ultimately educating you on how to eat, when, and how much while addressing lifestyle habits to give you a solid foundation of health. I believe that one of the biggest assets we can have in life is mental strength.

    Being an athlete throughout my entire life has prepared me for things outside of the gym. One of the reasons I work so hard to train my body, is to train my mind. If I can physically implement discipline, and put my body through pain and overcome that discomfort, then I can face what's happening in my life with steadiness even though the outcome hasn't revealed itself. I want to help you do the same.

  • -I played several sports growing up and never really lost my competitive edge as I love putting myself to the challenge when it comes to physical endeavors. Beyond high school, I've taken on Bobsledding, trail running, Olympic Lifting, dabbled in Crossfit...you name it, I'll try it.

    -One of my favorite pastimes is spent in the kitchen. Anything from baking to cooking, I get lost in the art of learning how to perfect a dish. It's like cheap therapy for me and a never ending learning experience. I also believe that food creates a strong connection between people, and getting the opportunity to cultivate that is one of my greatest joys.

    -You'll likely find me outdoors either hiking a mountain, walking the fields with my dog, or hunting with my family or friends. A life spent outdoors in God's creations is a life well spent.
